People forgot for awhile that I had been that overweight...they didn't include me anymore in their food struggle talk. I wanted to shout from the rooftops...remember it's me...I still have a hard time with food. Now...that I'm back up on the scale...they've forgotten I was ever thin...Lisa "One Mom's Weight Loss"http://www.blogger.com/profile/03639176833654581442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-660289590307824081.post-1263478720968729122010-01-22T16:30:49.284-06:002010-01-22T16:30:49.284-06:00For me that's one of the saddest aspects of th...For me that's one of the saddest aspects of this whole journey. No matter what we do, how much we accomplish, how thin and fit we get, we'll always bear the scars. Our friends and family will always have the memories. We will, too. And our bodies will always have the marks. (Although hopefully not too much - ugh - loose skin.)

It's still worth it, though, it's better than staying fat. It just sucks, though, that getting fat is the sort of mistake one can never truly fix.Hadleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11573969739642304799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-660289590307824081.post-90725321807089691572010-01-22T22:21:34.993-06:002010-01-22T22:21:34.993-06:00You can think of the loose skin as a badge of hono...You can think of the loose skin as a badge of honor.
I won't t hink of myself as a 'former fat person'.
I don't think that way now.
I think of myself as a thin person with a fat shell.
I am breaking myself out of jail.
lol.
have a great day.Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13708815560712267698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-660289590307824081.post-72586798725859685062010-01-23T20:50:27.677-06:002010-01-23T20:50:27.677-06:00I guess I honestly never gave it much thought eith...I guess I honestly never gave it much thought either way. I sure don't expect people to forget I've been overweight my entire life..But after all the work I put into losing weight I guess I hope everything doesn't remain exactly how it is. I don't know. I'm far from being 'thin' so I'll cross that bridge when I get there.Barbarahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01654416517724617507noreply@blogger.com
